Watching Nightline right now, about Solitary Confinement.

There talking about how rough Solitary Confinement is. I understand that. But then they decide oh let’s put a reporter in there for 2 days. Reporter being in there for 2 days is COMPLETELY different, then a actual prisoner being in there for a week, a month or even years.

The reporter knows that at the end of his 2 days he’s going home. He isn’t even binded to 2 days he can literally leave whenever he wants and he’s just like “I don’t know what im gonna do with myself” and they show him rubbing his forhead sitting in different positions on the ground in the cell. I’m just like “bitch take a nap! it’s gonna be over in 2 days”. He did admit that it’s not the same, and he knows he’s getting out in 2 days. But bascically what was the point, you go in for 2 days because you CHOSE TOO. Your going to get out and go home. Those prisoners are going to get out of solitary confinement and still be in jail :/ (not that those people in solitary don’t deserve it, for w/e reason. but it’s two different situations no matter what.)

(Lol the entire time I’m watching this I keep turning to my mom like “I UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PRISONERS ARE GOING THREW. I’VE SEEN OZ O____O”)
